Harken, theater geeks.
In their new movie, The Dresser, Anthony Hopkins and Ian McKellen are returning to the theater together:
Set in World War II London, The Dresser follows Sir (Anthony Hopkins), an ailing actor, and his devoted dresser, Norman (Ian McKellen).
« [Sir] senses that his life is running out, » director Richard Eyre says in the clip. « And that he’s spent his life, possibly, worthlessly. »
And so it’s up to Norman to get Sir through a grueling performance of King Lear, in which Sir plays the titular character.
